Minimum Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Have a high school diploma or GED
- Successfully complete required background and reference checks
- Have reliable transportation
- Have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance when driving is required
- Have or be willing to obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
- Be dependable and maintain consistent attendance
- Be comfortable working in home and community-based settings
- Maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries
- Be available to work every other weekend
Experience & Certifications
Previous experience in caregiving, home health, direct support, respite, behavioral health, developmental disabilities, or related services is preferred but not always required.
Experience working with children, adults, seniors, or individuals with behavioral or developmental needs is a plus.
Certifications such as CPR/AED/First Aid are required or may be obtained as part of the onboarding process. STNA certification is preferred when applicable.
